Afghan Kush is a hybrid of clones of California Sour and Indian Afghan Kush. This crossing was done in order to enlarge and thicken the cones of California Sour, which the creators of Afghan Kush managed to realize. At the beginning of life, the sprouts may seem stunted, but soon they are sure to gain mass and growth, and begin to form large, dense buds in a couple of weeks. The smell is herbaceous, somewhat spicy, reminiscent of black hash, and the flavor is something between grape-wine and mint. The high is long, uplifting and euphoric, indispensable for daytime meditation, and is also medically useful for treating stress, fatigue, aches and pains, depression and low appetite.
